Stock portfolio tracker for NSE & BSE
Bring all your shares into one place, whichever broker you use, and see how they're really doing: your return (XIRR) next to the Nifty 50, your risk, where your money sits, and the tax on your gains. Free, with no broker login.
Import from your broker in about a minute
Download your trade book from Zerodha, Groww, Upstox, Angel One, Dhan, 5paisa, ICICI Direct, HDFC Securities or Kotak Securities as CSV or Excel and upload it. Quantfolio finds the columns by itself, matches each stock by ISIN or symbol, and shows you a preview before anything is saved. The broker import guide shows where each broker keeps the file.
Hold mutual funds too? Add them from your CAS statement (see the mutual fund tracker).
What you see
- Returns: XIRR (or the absolute return while your portfolio is under a year old), total and today's gain, and a like-for-like comparison with the Nifty 50 or another index.
- Risk in plain English: volatility, beta, worst fall (drawdown), Value at Risk and how much each holding adds to your risk.
- Allocation by sector, market cap and asset type, plus what-if scenarios and rebalancing towards targets you set.
- Capital-gains tax by financial year: lots matched first-in-first-out, short- and long-term gains, grandfathering for shares bought before February 2018, and intraday trades kept separate. (How the rules work)
- F&O exposure with option payoffs by expiry.
- Live prices during market hours, and CSV and PDF reports to keep.
What it isn't
Quantfolio is an analytics tool, not a trading terminal. It never places orders or connects to your broker for trading, and it doesn't give buy or sell advice.
Frequently asked questions
Which brokers can I import from?
Zerodha, Groww, Upstox, Angel One, Dhan, 5paisa, ICICI Direct, HDFC Securities, Kotak Securities, and any other broker whose trade book you can download as CSV or Excel with the date, stock, buy/sell, quantity and price.
Do I need to give my broker login?
No. You download your trade file from your broker yourself and upload it. The file is read in your browser, and only the rows you confirm are sent. Quantfolio never connects to your broker account.
I only have my current holdings, not years of trades. Can I still start?
Yes. Import your holdings list as an opening balance on a date you pick, and add new trades from then on. Returns and tax then start from that date.
Are prices live?
Prices refresh by themselves during NSE market hours, with no refresh button, and the day's closing prices are recorded every evening.
How is my return compared with the Nifty 50?
Quantfolio works out what the same rupees, invested and taken out on the same dates, would have earned in the index, then compares that with your XIRR. It's a like-for-like comparison, not the index's point-to-point return.
Does it track F&O?
Yes. Futures and options positions go in the F&O section, which shows your exposure and option payoffs by expiry. Broker trade files' F&O rows are left out of the stock import so they aren't counted twice.
Track your shares, whichever broker you use
Quantfolio tracks your NSE/BSE shares and mutual funds together — performance, risk, Nifty 50 benchmarking, capital-gains tax and F&O — completely free.
